A Discussion on Peace, Cooperation, and International Security
On March 3rd, 2025, a high-level diplomatic meeting took place at the Permanent Mission of the Philippines to the United Nations
and other International Organizations in Geneva. The discussion, hosted by H.E. Ambassador Carlos Sorreta, brought together key
representatives from the Geneva Center for Diplomacy and Conflict Resolution, including its President, Mykola Volkivskyi,
alongside Phani Spirada. Also in attendance was Merlina V. Mellejor, Attaché of the Philippine Mission.
The meeting served as a significant step in reinforcing diplomatic collaboration between Ukraine and the Philippines, particularly
in the context of ongoing global security challenges. The dialogue focused on strengthening bilateral ties, fostering peace,
and exploring avenues for multilateral cooperation in addressing geopolitical conflicts.
